Last Two Lowering Questions (Hopefully!)
Ok well I know I'm getting KYB AGX adjustable shocks.
1) I can't decide between Neupseed Sports and H&R Sports. What is the difference? For some reason, despite the specs, people with the H&R's don't look quite as low as those with the Neuspeed's. 2) Camber Kit? Front, Rear, Both? What brands? Installation costs? Washer Thing? I see that Nizmugen had horrible tread wear, while others don't... and I'm on stock tires. Do camber kits last long like anything else? I have heard stories of them breaking... THANKS! -John |
Camber Kit - Ingalls front, Washer trick for the back is what I've read is best.

go h&r.... i'm only saying that because that's what i did.... (i haven't put them in yet)

i have a chamber kit front and rear people say other wise

1) aren't H&R and Nuespeed the same thing, i'd go H&R cause i think you can find them cheaper and they are the original maker of them, not just a renamed product.
2)get an alignment and go from there, but plan on at least doing the bolt and washer trick. if you have -1.3 camber up front or less you can live with that. |

When lowering a car, each car is going to react a little differently, you will not know whether you are going to need a camber kit until you lower it and get an alignment. Some people have lowered their cars 1.8 and did not need a camber kit. Others have only gone 1.4 and did need one. Also if your toe is out, that will eat your tires up alot faster than the camber problem so make sure you get that aligned asap after lowering. When i lowered mine my toe was way off and my tires suffered because of it.

lower it... drive it for a while till springs settle, then get camber kit and align.

i think h&r sport springs are plenty low, although i didn't think they would be. these were taken maybe two months after i got the car lowered. its on stock shocks, and they are/were in very good condition still.
