99 accord stalls, starts right back up.
If anyone could help me with this problem it would be greatly appreciated. For the longest time I was having a stalling problem with my 99 accord ex v6, it would stall in warm weather and not start from anywhere from 1 minute to 6 hours on the worst day. I did some part swapping hoping to fix the issues I had read somewhere that it could possibly be my main relay so that is the first thing I replaced. My car was fixed this is after 4 years of the problem and no one knew what was wrong with my car, occasionally it started off not starting at all and progressed to stalling. At this point my car did not stall even in the worst of the heat of the summer, but just recently it has started this trend again, but this time a little different. Now it seems to stall most commonly while I'm stooped at a either a red light or stop sign, but on the occasion it has stalled even while just slowing down. I have found that pressing the gas just before it stalls brings the revs up and prevents it from stalling for a few seconds but does not stop it completely. The difference this time around as opposed to the other problem is it always starts right back up instantly no matter what, I have not had to wait at all to get it running again. I'm not sure what it is, the car was just recently tuned up, all the filters and the spark plugs are in good condition and it is regularly maintained. Once again anyone that could help me with this problem I would greatly appreciate it.
That's what I've been thinking, lately just thought I would double check, it really seems to me as the only thing that could be wrong since it was pretty much the only thing I have changed.
Thanks for the response.
