Another Q about JDM's, regarding sealant.
 

Should I just put them back together and not worry about it, or should I take all the old sealant off and use new, or should I pu them back together, then put more around the outside, or should i put some new inside w/ the old, then put them back together?

No need to try to remove the old sealant, it'll be messy plus it's good stuff. Just add a bead of silicone around the seam on the headlight after you get it back together, you'll be just fine.

I just used the old sealant that was on it. Didn't even bother to add any extra and they haven't leaked yet.

I added extra the first time I opened them up just to be sure. the second time I didn't and they have been fine.

i didn't add any extra sealant to mine when i put them back together. my car's been in some pretty heavy rain for extended periods of time since then, and still no fogging so far (crossing my fingers).. my depo corners are a different story. those things suck hardcore. i gotta get around to drying them and re-sealing them some time
