Ok I have a question how do i know when my ECU is fried what are some signs. I have a 1996 honda accord EX, if i was to get a new ECU what is the model of mine and where can i find one. I dont even know the going rate for one. does it matter if it comes out of LX, or DX 96 or 97. I know that the ex models all come with VTEC so i know that the new ECU i get has to support that right. I dont even know if i am making sense can someone help me please. Also is ECU the same thing as Computer. thanks in advance

 

u can get one from a junk yard.. seeing that ur in Bk, call up Hunts Point.. they're bound to have the ECU ur looking for.. what makes u think your is bad tho?

 

u need an ecu from a 96-97 ex, auto or manual depending on what car u have
