cause if its kind of old it will never match
it might not be dirty, just weathered

You can try acetone or Mothers makes a plastic polish. If the wreck was coved by insuarnce (yours or theirs) you should complain and make them give 2 new ones so they match.

hahaha now i like that, although i dont think i can really get anything else out of them.. the total is up arround 3500 to fix her, and its a 92 ex.. so its only worth like 4500 at best, assuming i plate everything in true pure gold, that or fill the trunk with crack rocks...
but.. on a lighter yet sader note its still not done yet.. car idles like a ***** and sounds like an old wooden ship settling when i take corners.... also i dont have a speedo so its the accident that paies for its self.. so i have to get that out of my damn insurance company, they must be kicking them selfs for not totaling it....

The polish I'd try...but I don't think you want to use acetone. It's great on glass...but it will cloud plastic.

true. it does. don't use it. some of the guys in the composites team used it on the canopy for the solar vehicle and it went totally cloudy. they spent the rest of the day polishing the canopy correctly.

Default Acetone...

is used to take off acrylic (fake) nails. If you read the back of the bottle, it will specifically tell you NOT to use it on plastic. .Which is why you should ALWAYS read the fine print/warnings!

Buy yourself some distilled water...and clean it out that way

If it is yellow then its most likely UV damaged which means you will have to replace it.

If its dirty on the outside then try Meguiar's Plastic Cleaner and Polish.
