Default Wondering if this is a problem

Me and my friend were clearing my headlights, and when we were done and putting the headlights back on, he put the wrong bolt on the top of the headlight and it broke, and now theres half a bolt in there. Is it gonna stay in fine, or do i need to get it out, and if so how? Thanks.

Nick

my guess is that the bolt will just fall out sometime. the only problem is that you really need all the bolts to secure your headlight housing properly. if you're missing just 1 bolt, it may wiggle when you hit a bump and you might not be able to get your beams aimed just right.

eh.....i had that exact same problem. But i didnt want that sh*t laying in there, so i just reopened my headlight housing and took it out. It wont affect anything, but i just felt unsatisfied, so i redid it.

No, its not in my housing, its the bolt thats holding it to the frame, you can see it when you open the hood. He used the bigger screw meant for the black piece instead of the other one.
