91 accord? custom fit speakers?
When I looked it up online at the car place by me I can swear it said the fronts of a 91 accord need custom fit 6 1/2's - And I thought that because someone told me I guess.
But I know someone for example that claims they put pioneer components in the front which are 6 1/2 but not custom fit and they fit fine with room to spare.
My problem is the top of the line pioneer for example 3way is 80watts
But they make 6 1/2's that go to 260 which is what I want for the front and back, but dont want to get them if they won't fit.
Thanks anyone if you can help me out.
Or possiblity point me in the right direction as well to get a decent system (not counting bass, just working on head unit and speakers, possibly a 4 channel to run the interiors for now)
Need to get a stereo in it soon, this one blew up

Take the stock speakers out of your doors, and then take them out of the plastic holder. Get a sharp knife, and cut the backing away of the holder, so a bigger magnet can fit in there. Thats what I did when I replaced my speakers. You dont need "CUSTOM" speakers
