can anyone give me some ideas about whats wrong with my standard 1987 accord lx. It bogs down frequently. It usually happens when i am in third or fourth gear. it will sputter and stall. usually it will start again right away. i am thinking it is the fuel pump, because i recently changed the filters. also, it idles at about 500 rpm. i would set the idle higher, but i am sure it has to do with the previously mentioned problem. thanks for any advice

 

Probably fuel pump. My grandma's 87 Camry had the same problem, that's what it turned out to be.
