Default camber

hello all, i just took my car to the alignment shop after putting a set of ground controls on it and they said the front was 3 degrees out of alignment, and they said that the accord does not come with a camber adjustment from the factory, so, they said they could not do anything with it, but were kinda asses about it and the whole process, so, i wont me goin back to them, but does anyone know if this is true? about not coming with a camber adjustment form the factory? also, i been looking at some camber kits to fix 3 degress of camber, and been reading about the ingalls extreme kit, but not sure where to get one for hte cheapest price. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. also, how hard is one of these kits to put on???

DAMn......3 degrees of negative camber??? how low are your ground controls adjusted at? With 3 degrees of neg camber, you mos def need a camber kit. Yes, it is true that accords dont come with camber adjustment ability from factory. For cheapest price on ingalls, u mite wanna check out www.groupbuycenter.com and good luck.

stock is non-adjustable, camber kit makes it adjustable, don't hate the alignement shop, there's nothing they could do without a kit

i don't mean to come out as an ass but people really need to do research before having any serious mod done to their car, can't just buy things and slap them on the car, you'll will learn that in the long run.

Watch out though, you will not be able to adjust the front camber more than about 1.5-2 deg before the upper control arms will snack into the inner fender. Been there. I am running Ingalls in the front... washers in the back!

What about the ball joint type of camber kits? I was told that they were the best type to use on the front. I have H&R Sports on KYB AGX. I jsut put them on today, and it looks sweet, so now I guess I need the camber kit up front, washers/bolts in the rear. Any sugestions?

in a reply to the post that had already been posted, i was not mad at the alignment shop for not being able to adjust the camber, it was the ways in which they talked to me and treated me that i did not like, also, i had done much research on this mod, and had read many places that i could lower my car up to 1.5 inches and not need a kit. but since i need a kit, i was just asking for any suggestions on where i could get an ingalls extreme

i was just asking for some suggestions from people that had bought from different shops about where i may go to get this item and where i could get a good deal and deal with a good shop. i am not an automotive retard and do not appreciate being treated that was just for asking for some personal experinces and advice, i mean, isnt that what this web board is for?

I'm currently on Eibach sportlines, dropped 1.8 or so and ha d some chamber problems. I went with SPC chamber kits....cost me $180 for front and rear set and they work great.

i got the Eibach camber kit from a local shop. that doesn't help you out much, but they were 140 for the front, and the place i got the car aligned at put a rear camber kit on.
