Really depends on maintenance. I'd say if regular maintenance was done by Honda technicicans, 250,000+ miles. If nothing more than necessary maintenance and oil/filter changes were done, I'd say 200,000 miles. It it was beaten to hell, 150,000 miles. This is before the engine requires major mantenance, not when it dies.

This is based on minimal experience with high mileage J30's...anyone have experience with it? I only have experience with a couple 100,000 miles J30's that feel brand new and a few 250,000 miles Honda 4 bangers.

oh yeah, my cv boots tore, so i'll probably have to replace the cv joints soon.

My engine is almost the same as the one in the ~89 legend V6 and my friend got his to got to 207k before it got flooded. Im not too worried, 1 1/2 left till I graduate from engineering and then its new car/truck time. =)

Mine's got 158k. xbajbusx, you change rides at 100k? A Honda's barely getting broken in at that point! Timing belt was replaced, other than that, it's running pretty well. I have a little issue with valves -- loping idle -- but it's not really urgent so I haven't spent the $$ yet. I just change my oil at 3500, other than that, nothing special.

In case he doesn't make it over here, SumAccordGuy94 has over 280k on his 90, closer to 300k. Even more impressive, his dad's friend has a 90 with 467k miles!!! That's got to be the highest figure I've ever heard of.

My neighbor, 94 nissan truck (the small old frontier type) 5spd 4cyl, 551k miles, original engine, not rebuilt yet, just clutches replaced. He's a delivery carrier guy, drives 400-500 miles a day in houston.

I have a 98 AV6 with 80k miles and so far I've needed a new battery,alternator and tranny. I'm finally trading it in for a 03 6 speed AV6 in Feb.
