97 driver's side window problem

On my 97 accord LX, the drivers side window is all loose and it keeps popping out of the track, going onto the outside of the door. I have had everything apart on it, I have tightened up the rails, have messed with about everything, but the window seems to be getting worse and worse. Has anyone else been having the same problem? And if so, how was it fixed---besides the arm and leg that the honda dealer probobly wants to fix it.) This is an ongoing thing with this car, the car is a piece of junk---My 88 accords' quality is supreme to this 97 junk....

are there ANY signs of attempted forced entry:confused:

my passenger side front did that for a minute. but after my car was broken into, i was able to get it back on track by repeatedly rolling the window up and down while guiding it along the track with my hand. i know this don't help much, but i remember having that same problem on that window and i can't remember EXACTLY what i did to remedy it. all i know is that it doesn't do that anymore. (i don't think i took the door panel off for that, either.)

check to make sure the rubber guide along both sides--especially the back end of that window--is pulled out and not folded under or something like that. if you see the rubber folded and it extends down into the door, pull off the panel and try to unfold it. (i think that's what fixed mine.)

Naa, I have had all that off, had the window out, adjusted the guides, and it still does it. I think the guide that the window sits on is faulty..... More money dumped into this car than it is worth... And it is stock.
