Loose Rotor
My 91 Accord F22 2.2 liter runs awful. Rough idle, no power on hills. The distributer rotor seems loose on the shaft. Is this supposed to be tight? Mine wobbles a bit back and forth. I've changed plugs and fuel pressure regulator, and pulled the plugs on EGR and fuel injectors, but so far no change. Any other things to check?

If it's just a very small amount of play, and you've got the rotor screw on there tight, I wouldn't worry about it. Mine has a small amount of play as well and it's fairly new.
The ignition rotor is cheap and easy to replace so might as well try a new one, but unless there's a lot of corrosion/build-up on it, I don't think a new one is going to fix your problems.
I'd try the easy and cheap things first, like fuel-injector cleaner, look over the plug wires for cracks, a new cap along w/ the rotor.
Were you getting low pressure with a gauge before you changed the regulator? A badly clogged fuel filter could be the cause of low pressure, if that's the case.

It sounds like you might even have a cylinder not firing. Make sure all your wires are tight on the plug and distributor contacts. If they're old, I'd replace them. If you replace the rotor make sure to replace the whole thing; rotor and cap. Have you tried using seafoam? The stuff works wonders. Do a search on how to use it. You can get it at any autoparts store.
Thanks, discovered the spring that connects the distributer cap was bent. However, still have rough idle, and surges below 2000 RPM. Ignition system now seems tight, Whats next, fuel injectors, poor valve adjust? Other suggestions?
