Default Automatic Tranny Engine Mount Inserts question

I have a 1993 Accord LX and the car really jerks badly when it is put into drive or reverse. I'm hoping to try some motor mount inserts but every time I find the Energy Suspension inserts it says it is for a manual transmission. Is this going to make a difference? Does this mean that the motor mounts are different for auto's and manuals? I figured I'd find out from the pro's before order and trying to shove the wrong inserts in. Thanks, Michael

I know the a/t mounts are stiffer to handle all the extra wight and the 3 engine mounts should be the same just less stiff (may brake). I do not think the trans mount will be the same, call or email the company's you are looking at thy should have some idea.

I think the mount causing me the problem is the front mount by the radiator. Not sure of the name of that mount, but it seems to be the reason that the engine moves so much when i shift into drive or reverse. If the engine mounts are the same I'll probably give it a try. It's probably just a temporary fix, but it'd be worth it.

Ya i thing on that model its the dog bone mount in the front. If I remember I have done a few. Maybe call your dealer and see if there is 2 different part numbers for the a/t to m/t.
