you may get away with the factory struts..... but you'll decrease the struts' life.

any idea by how much i might be decreasing the struts' life? on my integra it's been lowered 2" and on the factory struts for the last 5 years with no issues, but i'm not sure if the accord suspension is different.

... also, what about camber? with such a little drop should i bother with a camber kit? i'm looking at the tien h-tech springs that lower it 1.2" in the front and 0.7" in the back (according to their site)

Its different depending on the struts, springs, and the car itself whether or not you need a camber kit. With that drop you may not need one, but an Ingalls camber kit of ebay (which works great btw) is only about $150, so if you don't want to have to take everything back apart you can just get it and do it from the beginning. Your choice though.

I wouldn't count on your factory struts to last very long even under the minute lowering that you are going to do. I would go ahead and buy a set of struts to be sure you don't have any issues. And, I wouldn't bother with a camber kit, just get it aligned and you should be fine... unless you have extremely wide tires on it?
