Honda's Part Numbering System
Hey all..
I have a 99 Accord EX V6 and I am looking for a new middle panel dash for my car... The Honda part number of what I need is 77102-S84-A10ZB. There is a car at the local junkyard that is a 99 Accord EX 4 cylinder. The part number of the middle panel dash is 77102-S84-A00ZB for that one. Are these parts compatible?? I am assuming the part numbering system that honda uses has meanings for the numbers and letters in each part number. Does anyone know how to decipher this?? The only difference in the part numbers is A10ZB to A00ZB. Are these parts the same or different?? Thanks in advance for the help... |
are you looking for the trim only or the heater controls?

Oh wow, you need the entire magilla.
Well, I'll sit back and wait for a reply. The only thing I can see being different is dash colors / shades. |
Part #77102-S84-A10ZB = PAD *NH284L* (LIGHT QUARTZ GRAY)
Part #77102-S84-A00ZB = PAD *NH284L* (LIGHT QUARTZ GRAY) Are you sure those part numbers are what you want? According to these part #'s, they belong to passenger side dash cover (part #017): http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...STRUMENT+PANEL If you're looking for part #6 then i'm almost sure they're interchangeable. Based on a 99 Accord 2DR EX VS 99 Accord 2DR EXV6: They both use the same part #6 as follows: Both use Part #6 (YR169L) = MILD BEIGE Both use Part #6 (NH264L) = CLASSY GRAY But on the 2DR EX Part #6 (NH284L) = LIGHT QUARTZ GRAY & 2DR EX Part #6 (NH283L) = QUARTZ GRAY |
