Default 95 Accord Transmisision Problem Vtech

Hello all,

I have a 95 Accord EX 4cyl Vtech.
I recently had a transmission flush.
I am on a road trip now put about 1000 miles
on it. But during the trip, I've notice that the
transmission isn't performing as well as it used to.
Seem to shift a bit later and I it is starting to
make noise. I still have abother 800 miles before
I get back home.
Any recommendations?

Do you think it was the flush?
What kinds of questions should I be asking my
mechanic to see if the flush caused the problem
or if it is just bad luck?

Thanks,
DK

it might be the flush... if it started hapening after you did it.

Honda trannys should never be flushed... only drained and refilled.

Does the Vtech have a ring tone? If not check the wire if something came loose. Also check with your phone provider if you cannot resolve the problem. Vtech phone are okay, I used to have one

Why shouldn't it be flushed?

What should my next step be?
-Ask them what transmission fluid they used?
-Bring it back and tell them they messed up my
transmission.
-Have them flush is again with Honda Tranny Fluid
if they didn't do it before?

We can't help it when he says "vtech". If you open your hood once a year, you'll know how to spell it right. My mom knows how to spell VTEC.
