do those stock front dash speakers even bump? i was thinking of putting tweeters there but i dont think it makes any difference

 

also, they are way up there! right next to the windshield. so hard to reach it

 

They don't "bump". They're tweeters.

theyre just tweeters..... if youre going to get new ones, the old location isnt the best for best sound.

 

LoL. Bump. . Yeah, I'd probably leave them alone. They don't contribute much and since they aren't in the best spot, new tweeters wouldn't do much better. But if you want to replace them anyways, I think the grills just snap off. Be careful though. Don't force them.

 

haha yeah im just wondering if they are good. i dont need tweeters though, my 6X9's are good enough when i put my trebble all the way up

 

Dash mounted tweeters are mean't for imaging, your rear 6X9's are not providing that in any way.
