Or, if someone has the info I need....I'd like to know which caliper pin/bolt is the top and which is the bottom. One has the little rubber tip at the end. I believe this is the upper pin, am I correct?

Rubber tip = top
Plain pin = bottom

 

Thanks, what is the point of the rubber tip? Driver's side didnt have a pin with the seat for the tip. Guess I'll pick up a set of pins this week and swap them, its too hot to take it apart again tonight. Its been fine for the 60k I've owned it so Im not too worried.

 

i honestly do not know what the rubber tip is for... if the pins have been in there for a while, the rubber usually sticks inside the caliper bracket when you pull the pins.

I would guess that at one time there was brake work done on the car and one pin needed to be replaced, so they just got the pin without the rubber tip. Either pin fits top or bottom just fine, but if you want to get technical, the rubber tipped one goes on top.
