i have a 91 accord lx with a bad oil leak. when i look from the bottom of the car there is oil everywhere and on top where the long block that has Honda 16 valve on it has oil leaking from around the edges where it is bolted on I guess. what could be the cause of the leak on the top and any suggestions for the bottom. please help i need it fixed.

 

oil pan gasket, for the bottom possibly

 

u can get your engine degreased. change your oil and have some oil dye added so u can see where its coming from.

 

The top part is the valve cover. It's gasket is relatively easy to change (if that's the only leak). But since you didn't know what it was, I'm guessing you may not want to fix this yourself. If you have a favorite trusted shop, it's probably not too expensive to do that.
