Alternator replacement

I have a 2000 honda accord and i was wondering if any of you guys replaced your alternator yourself? Or do you reccomend me taking it into a shop to get that done?

If youve done it yourself, how long does it usually take? is there much mechanical skills involved?

Any help will be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance

It's very easy. V6 or 4 cyl?

v6. Easy? that sounds good. Are there any directions online or anything like that?

If you buy my brand new alternator that I paid $150 for (name your price) I'll send you some with it :)

1. Unplug the electircal connection from the condenser fan motor. Remove the condenser fan/shroud. Two bolts at the top, one at the bottom.
2. Relax the tensioner pulley and remove the belt.
3. Remove the electrical connector from the alternator.
4. Remove the two bolts holding the alternator and remove alternator.
5. Reverse for reassembly.

This is from memory, but I think it's pretty close.:D
