Failed emissions for CO

Hi all I'm new here. I have failed emissions for CO. Anyone have any ideas? The limit was .74 and i came out with a 1.24. Plugs wires are within 20k, oil fresh, needs an airfilter but I'm not sure if that would put it that far out. New cap rotor when plugs done. By the way, what is CO? Carbon monoxide or dioxcide?
Thanks all

Failed emissions for CO

Oops. I guess a make and model would help. I have a 92 accord lx 2.2L.
Thanks

CO is carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide has a small 2 after CO

Thanks, Do you happen to know what would cause a high CO reading from my car?

From what I know, it could be caused by many different things from modifying your engine to the catalytic converter. What did the people that did the inspecton say?

EGR ports are clogged probably. Just happened to my 95... An easy job to DIY.

I will check the EGR ports thanks. unfortunately the emission place did not give me any info as to the cause. when i lived in FL they would give you some direction to go. not in CT.
Thanks you guys
