Default if you have a 95 96 97 accord....warranty

I just got a letter from Honda Motor Co inc.

all honda accord from 95 to 97 have warranty until 150k miles or 14 yrs whichever come first. this is for anything that has to do with the emissions.

I have ask the dealer for a free tune up in the past and they denied me such warranty.
you are allow to have 2 free tune up. this include replacing spark plugs, ignition wires, distributor cap and rotor, and change the oil and oil filter. All free of charge.
I already replace both o2 sensors on my car at 60k miles and the exhaust and oh yeah and a tune up I did.
now I am mailing proof of what I spend and I should get some money back. should be over $500
the free tune up start at 50k miles to 150k miles.
this is noting new but now I have better proof, a letter directly with my name on it and the VIN number of my car.

I just got the letter tonight for our '96. I'll at least get the old 'cord checked since it's free.

The only 95 covered is the V6 Accord. All models were covered
in 96/97(except Passport, of course their only crappy Isuzu's anyway)
I posted the actual service bulletin here https://www.honda-acura.net/forums/s...d.php?t=225712 before I saw this thread.
That will give you a better understanding why their doing this, and
if your car is covered.

If the O2 sensors went bad at 60K, They would been covered on
the normal 8/80 even without the extension. Did you use factory
sensors for replacement? If not they may not reimburse you for any
aftermarket stuff you may have used.
Also for the cars covered, there is only one free tuneup and only
between 75K and 150K. Not two as you mention.
