i was looking at various 6.5" speakers for the doors of my accord coupe. i came across a really nice pair of alpine type s 6 3/4" 2 way speakers for the low and i just wanna know if somehow i can possibly make them fit into 6.5" holes in the accord. has anybody tried anything like this with success?

 

check the dept width of the speakers, and see if they fit in the hole, and cut accordingly.................. just me guess

 

A 6 3/4 Alpine Type S 2 Way Component Speaker will fit in the front doors of your 1996 Honda Accord EX Coupe. 6 3/4" speakers are just 6 1/2" speakers with less mounting surface and more surround. It's like a doughnut with frosting all the way to the edge vs. one with frosting 1/4" from edge.:lmao: Those are a nice speaker too, I have them.
