Basslink II (Powered Sub) in 05 Accord Coupe
Just got a Basslink II and wonder where the best/easiest location to mount it is. I searched and found some old posts, but the .jpg's were gone. I'm leaning toward Left (driver ) rear corner of trunk (near taillight) or behind Drivers side rear passenger seat. Standing up I guess. Looking ahead, looking for AMP mounting location too, not wanting to mount thru gas tank. Any tips would be a plus... Also How to remove door sill strips (for amp power wire) Thanks Mark
place it on whichever side u want sub bass is non-directional as for the door sills the should be held down by clips take a flathead screwdriver or panel removal tool and try to pry up on the sills be easy so u wont mess any of them up good luck need help pm me
i have my basslink 1 mounted on the passanger rear corner of the trunk, with the bass facing the trunk..... the door sill strips just comes off if u pull it up..just be careful not to break the clips
Got My Sound System Almost done. I' using the stock Headunit and Infinity
7541a Amp 139 Watt x4 into 2 Ohm Infinity 6x9 and 6.5 Coaxial. Also replace the front tweeters with Rockford Fostage 3/4" 100 watt units. Also Infinity Basslink II 250 Watt Self powered 10" square Sub. And Sony mx-575? 10 Disc Changer MP3/CD (using PIE adapter from OEM Radio).
It sounds great, good tight bass and lots of trunk room left. I do get some "hiss" from the OEM radio at the quietest of setting. but I have it set up for alot of gain !!! I rigged a high/low 4PDT range switch to allow for Ultra quiet when parking/engine off. Check out Attached Pics.

I have a powered Kenwood 10" with a .5 farad cap. I can't complain about it at all. Im throughly satisfied with the sound and impact. I was looking into a basslink for my 240SX, but wrecked it before it could ever happen.
