i was thinking hb's have the best sonds for systems. and i was looking at the rear deck thinking of taking it out. but heres a question is that a man support or anythign for the car. also i was looking at it and its just a couple of welds around it holdin it on in the front

yeah anything that large is going to have great effects on your cars structural integrity would suggest leaving it alone and just buy a bigger amp.

i'd just cut it out the metal behind the rear deck and re-wrap the back deck w/the speakers "shaved"... structurally i don't think that metal helps a lot but if you get paranoid about it you can always bolt a support bar accross where it used to be.
