Default i need help asap please

ok here soon im gonna help my friend change some brake calipers pads and rotors i know the pads and rotors well so i need no help there but the calipers ive never done and i know this is a handa forum but so far u guys have been good to me so what does it take to replace calipers? if possible answers by friday would be nice so i can knock it out thankx Ricky

Couple of suggestions-


1. Look in the FAQ thread for your needs.

2. Go to the parts store and buy a Service Manual for that year car. They are less than $20, and you will be saving more than that in labor.

thanks for your reply but idk where the faq's are at could u give me a link or just some steps on how to replace the caliper

If you can change the pads you can change the calipers because you essentially have everything disconnected but the brake line. You're gonna want to bleed the system though. autozone.com has pretty good basic instructions for changing calipers in their vehicle repair guide and is vehicle specific with pics. Go there, it's a life saver
