Yes, I'm a nub.

Hello, I'm new to the forums and to the whole car perspective. One of my friends recently got me into cars and it's all I've been able to think about. So far all I have is a set of 5Zigen Axelbacks along with a short ram intake, with a set of Neuspeed lowering springs. Does anyone have suggestions on what kind of headers I should get for my car too? This probablly sounds nubbish too, but is it possible for the tranny swap to convert auto to MT for the V6 engine? I've always wanted to know, but with the way it was all mounted, it didn't look all too possible. Here are a few pics of my car, it's a 02' Accord EX V6 Sedan.

Nice car, and welcome to HAN :) After driving a Ferrari 360 Spyder and a Viper last night, I'm firmly resolved to save up my money for something more tossable than a Honda Accord and am trying not to buy the Magnaflow exhaust I really really wanna get ;)

Far more trouble than it's worth IMO to swap in a 6 speed, especially since you can't do any of the work itself. It would run around $5000-$7500 including labor, less if you also swapped in a 260 hp CL Type-S engine.

welcome to HAN...

by the way... you are a noob

a nub is something else LOL

Don't even bother with the tranny swap. You'd be better off just selling your car and buying one with a MT. It would be less stress, time, labor, and probably money as well.

Welcome to HAN by the way and nice car too. Post some pictures of under the hood.

oh, by axelbacks I meant the piping was done from the area where the rear axel would be, if I had any, back to the exhaust. It's 2 1/4" piping there. But everything before that is stock piping. I love this car to death because it was and still is my first car and I believe it looks awesome. I guess the 6 speed trany swap isn't worth it from everyone's comments. So what does everyone think, save up for a new car or go for an engine and trany swap?

welcome to Han! enjoy your stay here!
6th gen[98~02] Accord V6's do only come in Automatic, and 5-spd for that, not worth the money.
you should get shocks as well since you already have springs, and it's be much proper way to drop your car with shock/springs combo.
black housing if you will, that'd be nice.

You should get a strut bar.

They didn't make this car w/ a 6 speed. love the torque of my v6 accord. so very unhonda like, yet sounds just like a honda when starting.
btw, where did you get the exhaust? i've been looking.
