Default Will Accord 7th MT Shift Knob fit my Accord 6th MT shift Knob?

I found this shift knob from http://www.handa-accessories.com/accord/acc03shft.jpg

I have boring stock shift knob for my 6th gen Accord 5sp, I always wanted to buy an aftermarket shift knobs but I like none of them. I wander around and found this shift knob. Now my question is, Do you know if the shift knob from Accord 2004 fits 6th gen model?

Also, please look closely at the shift boot, it's rounded at the neck, not retangular like the 6th gen model. Do I need to buy boots to match too?

Thanks in advance for your inputs

you don't need the shift boot, all you have to do is take off the square plactic piece, zip tie it and your good to go. as long as that shift knob has the same threads as the 6th gen accord.(which it proably does) you'll be good to go. try it out and let us know if it works.

The 99 TL and 00 TL changed shift thread diameter size so I'm not so sure...if one 6th gen owner could measure his that would be great
