I just got a new fob for my car and tried to program it using the instructions above, but couldn't get it to work. I also wasn't sure what it meant by "check that the power door locks cycle." Any ideas?

Your instructions worked perfectly for my 98 Accord EX.

One extra tip - after you've completed all the steps and cycled the locks, take the key *out* of the ignition before testing the fob and deciding that the programming didn't "take".

I just bought new transmitter for my 98 Civic and after I programmed it, only PANIC button is working. Any ideas?

LED on my remote is light when i push the buttons.

I receive at least 3-4 PM's or emails a week about keyless entry programming. I'm tempted to just delete the thread :chuckles:

I picked up an Accord LX 2dr, it has electric locks. The only way to lock it is from the out side with the key as it did not come with a remote.

I've looked under the dash and found no alarm moddule. Is there a way to find out if there is a keyless entry system installed on this vehicle ?

does anyone have a keyless entry programming for a civic lx 2002? i got 2 remotes with my civic from the dealers but they dont work and i replaced the battery's and still nothin.
