92 Wagon won't start when it's hot outside
I'm having a strange problem w/my 92 Honda wagon. When it's hot outside it won't start. When it's cooler - early morning or late at night, it starts fine. When it's hot - not when the engine is hot - but rather when the ambient air temp is hot, the engine cranks fine, but just won't fire.
The car is a 92 LX wagon, with 227,000 miles. All original. Other than the starting problem, it runs fine. Only other issue is that it idles a little roughly at times. I'm a Honda novice and have no clue what may be causing this starting problem. Any ideas out there? THANKS! |

I had the same problem. It was the main relay. Cost me $212 to diagnose and install by my local mechanic... You can do it for much less by digging under your dash and installing your own replacement. - Send me the difference.
