can't open door or get panel open
 

Please help! My honda accord driver side door broke. The mechanism inside the door is not working consequently, I can't open it from the out or inside. This makes removing the inner panel near impossible. I stopped by the dealership today and they weren't helpful at all. Just wanted to make an appt. and take my money!
I know I can replace the parts if I could just get in!
As a mother of four, my daisy duke days are over and sliding in through the window is a comdedy of errors, entertainment for the kids in the back seat, and threatening my physical welll being.

any help would be greatly appreciated! We are going on vacation next week and I don't want to sink another $300 into this car this week! Dealer says it's at least a 2 -3 hour labor job and sometimes they break the panel. Well if they might break it, why not try myself!??

If they break it they should replace it at no cost. If you break it, you are going to have an extra expence.
