I couldnt find an answer in the audio forum so i will ask here.

hi guys,
I wanna install 2 6.5 kickers 300watts total in front and 2 6x9 kickers n the rear total of 360watts.

now Do u guys think it will work good with my stock radio/cd.
i'm thinking twice about buying a aftermark radio.

i am planning to get a amp and a sub but first i wanna know if this is going to work, just replacing the speakers and will it make a big diff compare to stock.

i have a 96accord ex. oh one more thing, there are 2 small speakers n front n the windshield should i replace those? they look hard to replace.

 

Sure, theey will work. But they won't be at their best performance. Best thing to do is gt an aftermarket radio, and put an amp to the speakers..

 

You'd better make sure the kickers will fit in the doors too, depth is an issue on the doors if you want to use the stock grills.

I couldn't use just any 6x9" in my coupe either, the depth interfered with the torsion springs.

 

thanks for the reply, i'm getting a real good deal n some brand new kickers but i will be using them with the stock radio a little while.
