won't start sometimes

A friend of mine has a 98 accord w/ the v6. Sometimes the car will start and sometimes it won't. Usually if you try and start it and it don't start then you can let it sit for about a half hour to an hour and it will start again. What could be possible causing this problem?

What kind of noise is it making or whats the scenerio?

I would imagine you have a worn out distributor that is letting in condensation. Change that and the spark plugs and tell us if it still happens.

This should have been routine maintenance by now anyway, so hopefully it's already done.

Same thing happened to my 99 V6.

I suggest a tune up.

well, when it won't start I don't think that the fuel pump is running. That has been checked out and it is fine. I will let him know and I'll get back to ya.
