Well guys, it's been fun!

Yeah.. it finally happened. I picked up the RSX Type-S today.

2005 Magnesium Metallic with Ti interior. I know ::thisthreadisworthlesswithoutPIX:: but you'll have to wait until tomorrow.

I was at the dealership for 4 count them --ONE-TWO-THREE-FOUR-- hours.

Long story short here's my $$:

$23,000 purchase price (wouldn't budge, even though some CRSX members report paying $22,4-22,9) includes wheel locks and splash guards

I put $6250 down. I'm leasing for 36 months (I'm only using the lease to keep payments down)

At the end of the 36 months I'll owe 13,000.

Payments is $198 a month including that acid etching serial code anti-theft shit and road hazard (that 5 year "we buy you new rims and tires if you blow out dawg" plan)

have fun in the new ride! I wish I could rock a RSX, price is just out of my range right now, and no car payments are really nice.

congrats on the new purchase. Nothing like a new car to spark the mod bug again.

I'll see ya around dude.

You'll still be posting here though :p

Sweet car, I wish I didn't drive 30k miles a year so I would be able to lease :( Surprised to see you got the silver/tan, I would have gone with a black interior color combo.

I hope you read over the road hazard plan carefully, some are mostly BS because they're prorated the the "value" depreciates quickly.

I do drive 30K miles a year hahah.

My lease terms are 15K. I put 56k on my Accord in 2 years. I'm serious. I'm going to buy it outright at the end of the term (3 years) I plan to have like 8K saved then so I could finance 5K for like another year or something.

Lease was a good option for me, even though I drive a lot because I planned on keeping the car. And hell, if I don't keep it -- the value of the car speaks for itsself.

I test drove the blue/black one and I kinda beat the shit out of it, redlined 1st-3rd gears before I shutterdown (lol)

I wanted MM/Black which is an 06 option but I didn't want to wait ;x

The interior is still very nice

Good plan  How much cheaper were the payments for lease vs financing?
