Default intake mounting

i just wanted to know the easiest way to mount a short ram intake but not ghetto rigged pics or any advice would help

Most mount in factory bolt locations around the stock intake area. Are you making your own or did you buy one? If you bought one I don't know why it wouldn't have some type of mount somewhere.

A proper intake will take the place of the existing stock airbox. A mounting bracket is pre-weleded onto the pipe and will use stock bolts to hold it down.


See that blue fork that sticks out? That's the mounting bracket.

It's better than letting that huge tube hang off the throttle body, that's for sure. Without proper support, you run the risk of that thing falling off.

You gotta realize you're going cheap on a $20,000+ (purchased new) car ... it's really not worth it ...



As far as that AEM intake posted earler, that SUCKS. There's no way they packed the right part in that box ... I hope. I've never seen anything like that.
