Default gauge cluster problem

I have a 2002 accord ex manual and the gauge cluster works but there is no light showing behind the temp gauge when the lights are turned on so when i opend up the back of the cluster there was a black line leading up to the socket adn the circuit was burned out so i was wondering if i get a new cluster and i plug it in will it display my existing mileage or the new mileage thanks.

the milaege will be of the new cluster...if you know how to soldier you can just fix as you only need to bypass the bad parts of the connection.

Punctuation is your friend. If you get a new gauge cluster the only way to keep your odometer is to switch circuit boards, which in this case would defeat the purpose. Why don't you just try to fix the circuit, or take it to someone that can?
