Default 2000 CL 3.0 V6 manual trans swapped into 2000 Accord V6?

since the Accord V6 98 - 02 doesn't come in a manual. I was wondering if the CL is the same 3.0 engine as the Accord V6 but with a 5speed option.

Is this possible?

It's seems that there may not be a 5spd manual CL

Very very very expensive to do any transmission swaps for the V6. The only working manual V6 6th gen I've ever seen used a Legend's tranny.

You can get an 01 CL-S with low miles on it for $15K. The heated leather, navigation, sports suspension, and 6 speed is really worth it.

I believe the newer CL's started in 01. 97-00 3.0 models were 5th gen based.

Only the 03 CL Type-S had a 6-speed. That will work but will cost well over $5,000 including the fabrication of a few parts - not worth it when you can get a 03 CL-S 6 speed for around 16-20k right now. They have poor resale value. There's much more information on v6performance.net on this topic, so do a search there.

the only successful tranny swaps I've seen are the legend 5 speed, and CL-S 6 speed, boh were relatively expensive, you'd be better off selling your car and picking up a CL-S from the same year, you'd have more performance from the start as well.

The most amazing swap I've seen so far is a odyssey 3.5l with comptech S/C and CL-S tranny thrown in a AV6, it puts out over 300whp.....at 4.5psi.

Yup, the Manual tranny didnt arrive for the CL-S until 2003. For the amount of money it would cost to do the swap. you might as well just trade up to one. You'd get a nicer car with more power to boot. They are alot cheaper than youd think.
