You can drive it....

My mom has a legend. Nice car. Has a good amount of power and is very luxurious inside. Don't know much about aftermarket support but I imagine it is very limited. Good luck with it though. What year?

i'd never do any of that stuff to a legend. not my style at all.

metal wing
side markers
clear signals with blue bulbs
ugly fogs

bleh.

i'd personally ...
- Upgrade the sound system. Get an Alpine deck, some 6.5 Infinity Kappa components in the front, Infinity Kappa 6x9's in the back. If you have a G2 iPod, get the optional adapter for the HU.

- Swap the rims for 17's. I'd look for some nice Volk-ish Rotas.

- Drop the car with Eibach's Prokits. keep it around a 1.5, 1.25 drop so you wouldn't need a camber kit.

- Stiffen up the car with sway bars and a front strut tower bar

- Upgrade the halogens to HIDs.

There's not much you can do intake, exhaust, and header wise.

what year/trim level (base, L, LS)?

you can always lower it, but there aren't that many options for shocks. expect the cost for parts to be a lot more expensive than for an accord, civic or integra. my brother drives a 91 legend.

u should go for the 93-95 GS 6-speed with the TYPE 2 engine. 230HP V6, cant go wrong wit that my friend. i had a gs sedan with a spoon ECU, cold air intake, and magnaflow exhaust. 17's(gloss black with chrome lip), i went wit the black on black thing and it looked sick. with just the three mods and a good tune up, my topend on the freeway was 156 from stock 130 and in the 1/4 i was taking modded preludes. i do agree that the interior is hella nice though, seat heaters, power leather seat, mirror heaters, it does weigh alot but the tourqe helps.
Damn i miss the luxury.

:werd: type-II + 6 speed transmission is soooo sweet. my favorite rims on a 2nd gen legend are still the GS rims.

there are a couple parts that people have taken upon themselves to manufacture themselves, like a short-ram intake (not CARB legal), and an additional upper-front strutbar. the intake will not work with the type-II engine, tho. there's a special variable intake system on it (not too familiar with it).

there are also JDM one-piece headlights (sedan), if you can find them. you'll have to take your bumper off to replace the corner lights if they ever burn out h:
