I've never posted on here before, but I've been watching these posts for about 2 months. I never reaqlly needed help but I am really stuck. I just got a 94 Accord LX, and the stock stereo kept cutting out, so I pulled it out and there was a butt-load of wires all over the place, I couldn't even find one solid color wire, and there were some harnesses attached to stuff. I just took out the wires that the previous owners had ingeniously wrapped around the prongs of the stereo to make it work, and then cut a harness (dont know why) but now my power windows and gauges dont work. I checked the fuses and they're all fine, and some mechanic guy told me it needed a pawer window, and lighting relay, so I got it those, and they still don't work. I installed a new stereao in hopes that it would fix them, but still no solution. Does anyone know what it could be?

 

Welcome to HAN!. You might have cut a lead wire or something... i would check the wires that you sliced. btw is it all windows that don't work or just one??? is your car a 2dr.... 4dr???

 

Its all of my windows, and its a 4dr, but the wires I cut weren't connected to anything, thats why I'm confused

 

hmmm the only other thing i can think of is to check to see if something got unplugged while doing all this... other than that i got nothing!!
