is it back firing or just sputtering. If its backfiring More than likly its sounds to me like a weak valve spring thats not closing correctly or timing. Its possible that your distributor(or other componets associated with it ie. cap, rotor button, or igniter) is messed up so that the spark is hitting the chamber at the wrong time causing detonation. If its just sputtering it could be a bad sparkplug/sparkplug wire or same as stated above..

what have you done recently to your motor?

is the firing order right? ignition timing set right? etc...

lol, is it a fart-can muffler? if so when you're going really slow you are just hearing the pressure build up and popping

is this the same ebay "high flow cat" that you installed and left the o2 sensor dangling since the "cat" didnt have a bung for it?

still no CEL? you should check the CEL anyways and see if theres any code stored.

eheheh. I was going to get a Megan "Racing" "high flow cat" because when I put on my GReddy Evo2 it blew out the cat. If the test pipe would've had an O2 bung, I would've used it.

Too bad us Accord owners don't have Casper's O2 Simulator like they have on the *SX
