Stock shocks are made for one thing, handling stock springs, I have an 00 accord too and I my suspension back in july and my mechanic showed me that my shocks had already started to leak a bit, and were only good for another couple years, and thats stock, combined with stiffer springs your just asking for problems. I always say, if your gonna do it, dont F**K around, do it right the first time. I got Koni Yellows and Progress springs, and its the best mod ive done to my car yet.

Stockers should be able to handle 1.5 inch on ProKits, like I have. I decided however to get some KYB shocks. I figured, well the wheel will be off, so it'll be easy to put the shock in. Besides, the KYB/Eibach combo>stock
