my 99 EX fuel light hasn't worked since I got the car when it had 40,000 miles on it. I wouldn't worry too much about it, as long as your gage still works properly you'll be all set.

Default fuel light

In the past few years I have never seen the low fuel light come on in my 99 EX 4 Cyl either, even when the fuel gauge is almost on E. The needle also doesn't seem to move that fast either, but on 02 EX V6, I have seen the light at least 5 or 6 times before I am exactly on E, I'll be pretty close and the light will come on going up or down a hill and it will stay on for a while, then after the road levels off, the light goes out. The gauge on this one is very sensitive, because when I'm down towards empty and the light flickers on and off the guage moves slightly back and forth.

Anyone get the issue fixed by the dealer at no charge?
