h22 tranny in a 95 accord ex coupe auto?
 
im gonna do this soon to my boyz accord, auto to stick swap with a prelude tranny. what in terms will be needed, so far we have:

h22 tranny
shifter and such
pedals
clutch
flywheel

anything im missing. what about mounts? i tried searchin but no avail to what is useful. thanks for anyone that can help.

a kid a while back on this site when it was just message boards was doing that. as far as i remember, you have everything needed. better motor mounts might as well just get added while the motor is out

Sounds like you have everything. From what I hear, the H22 can use the F22's stock engine mounts, but as mentioned by KCMC582, better engine mounts are a no brainer when the engine is out.

Your freind is going to use the H22 tranny on the F22? I would suggest an H23 tranny instead cause the gearing in 4th and 5th will be way to short. The H22 does 80 at 4,000 rpm, but on an F22 your going to be cruising in VTEC (if you got it) and get bad gas mileage. It may also not be good for the motor since it will see higher revs which it's not really designed for.

werd, the info i needed to know. kinda sucks cuz he has all the parts already. and yeah its a vtec motor. oh well. i know fo sho he is swappin an h22 motor in a few months so whatever floats his boat. im just the mechanic. lol late
