Default better headlight bulbs

Hi

I have been perusing some of the threads and noticed some people have been upgrading their bulbs. I had a look round the net and found the following site which has loads of bulbs:
http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk

Has anyone had any first hand experience with these bulbs? could someone give me some advice. I don't want to ask the company as they will probably just try and sell me the most expensive!!!

Many thanks in advance

stock bulbs aimed correctly are good....i'd stick with that unless you want HID retrofit...don't wanna blind others....

I use Sylvania Silverstars. They're the best without going HID.

Consider PIAA Extreme Whites as you are perusing.

silverstars are really the way to go. convert a 9005 bulb to a 9006 socket (search for directions on the board or on google) and you'll be good to go. you can get twin packs at walmart for only $38. (this time last year, you'd get 2 for $60 at autozone)

a good bulb, I had them for 2 1/2 years before one of the bulbs blew. a bit expensive, but I got my money's worth out of them. I'm running sliverstars now they are just as good as the PIAAs but cheaper. I don't think they will last as long but we'll see.

I like Silverstars because they don't melt my harnesses.
