I need to remove my console in my 94 accord cause it scractched when someone stole my cd player and I'm having a hard time removing the lighter housing (the place the lighter goes in). I've pretty much "un-attached" it but I can't figure out how to get it out cause both ends on either side of the console are two big to fit through the whole cut out for it. Any ideas?

you can unclip the lighter power plug and that will free itself from the center console....not sure if thats what you meant.

 

I found that happened to mine before too.... It kinda of screws in and out if I remember correctly...
