just got a 92 accord ex automatic for the engine to put in my 92 dirt track accord lx that i blew up last weekend, what are the power numbers on an lx compaired to the ex, better or worse, and will the ex go in the lx with out a lot of changing, Thanks

 

EX has a bit more hp, I believe around 10 more and it should be fairly straight forward swapping it. The header from an EX is also better than LX and pretty much as good as most aftermarket headers.

Ex has 140hp, the LX had 125hp for that year.

 

I got a LX 96 2 door... But I wanted a 2 door and they were hard for me to find.. so any 2 door that came my way, I bought it I really wish that my car had more HP like the EX model.. so the only way to really get that hp up, is to sooner or later just motor swap it
