Default v8?.....

i know i may come off as being someone who doesnt know anything about cars and such when i ask this but im dead serious.........honestly is it really difficult to put say a 302 in a accord wagon? could the car handle it?....my grandpa builds drag cars and i told him that i wanted more power and he doesnt want me to get rid of the wagon and he wants to put a 302 in it.......what kind of problems would i have? or is it just way to much of a hassle?....im seriously considering it.

thanks

Well, there would probably need to be HELLA custom fab work on the mounts, axles (different tranny and everything), wiring, and a couple other things. If you've got the money/time, go for it. I think it'd be interesting to see. You could probably get a decent amount of power out of it too.

you'd have to change enough stuff to where it really wouldn't be an accord anymore...it would just be a domestic V8 with an accord costume on

but a big heavy ass V8 just doesn't seem like something i'd want in my accord...if u've got all the time/money/and know how, why not swap another more powerfull honda engine in it and just turbo that ho?

Paul Nueman has a Volvo wagon with a 5.0 shoved in it...I guess anything is doable.

Are you planning to make the wagon RWD? FWD would be kinda difficult and pointless since a Honda V6 and supercharger could be swapped in easier I would assume.

I'd put a H22 in there with a AWD tranny swap like the Braille ITR.
