Hey, When I got my 17"s on I noticed later on that it was shaking in the steering wheel about 50-60, I had it balanced again cuz the wieghts feel off, happend again went to a dif shop and they noticed my f'n rim was slightly bent, moved it to the rear and havent feeled it since, could be outta balance, could be your rim, like others said could be your rotor, take off your rim and check your rotor and look to see if any weights are off your rim. If its shaking in your sterring wheel then its your front end. Hope that helps laterz
Another thing to keep in mind is that when you approach a red light, stopsign, etc, the new wider, grippier tires will be more likely to follow irregularities in the road, esp at low speeds while braking.
Now if you feel a vibration during freeway braking, then it's probably the rotors.
