why goo gone doesn't work??
 

today i bought some goo gone and tried to clean up the adhesive from the double sided tape on the dash board but it didn't come off the surface:mad: what to do?? what to do???

let it soak... usually that works... if all else fails, use a hair dryer to heat it up a little...

I've found that the edge of an old CD works wonders for removing double sided tape and other gooey crap.

the color of my dash board faded a little when i used goo gone, so i don't know if i should continue to use it

and that, my friend is why you should not put double sided tape on your dashboard.

A lot of cleaners and removers will do that. I think it says something about fading on the back of the goo gone bottle.
