Bump steer kit?
Hi everyone,
I have a 95 Accord EX lowered with H&R spring and Koni shocks. I just got my alignment done the other day and my steering wheel is still experiencing twitch and swerve on some roads. I talked to my mechanice and he said that what I'm experiencing is called bump steer and it's caused by lowering the car. He told me that I should look around to see if anyone makes Bump Steer Kits for Accords. I haven't heard anything about this. Does anyone know about these kits? I think they make it for Mustangs or something. Also, for those of you who have dropped your Accords, do you experience twitching and swerving on roads?
Here is some info on my alignment:
Front Left Front Right Specified Range
-0.63 Camber -0.70 -1.00 - 1.00
3.09 Caster 2.80 2.00 - 4.00
0.02 Toe 0.02 -0.12 - 0.12
Rear Left Rear Right Specified Range
-0.43 Camber -0.46 -1.00 - 1.00
0.09 Toe 0.11 0.00 - 0.16

As far as I know, you're going to experience bump steer since your suspension is so firm. Your car is in much better contact with the road. What sort of tires do you have? I used to have Dunlop SP9000's and they bump steeeed like crazy...Potenza S-03's and Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's do not
do u mean that ur car follows grooves in the pavement. Since I got 225 tires some shity roads will jerk the wheel at low speed and especially when slowing down to a red light. Its like the car wants to follow tracks that are indented in the pavemnet.
